Austrian ATX index shows mixed performance in recent trading

The Austrian ATX index has experienced fluctuating performance during recent trading sessions. On one occasion, the index saw a decline of 2.47 percent, reaching 6,403 points, while top performers included Polytec Group, Österreichische Post, and Bajaj Mobility AG.

In a separate trading period, the ATX trended upward, gaining 0.50 percent to reach 6,295.48 points. During this session, AT&S emerged as a strong performer with a 3.70 percent increase, alongside gains from CA Immobilien, Andritz, OMV, and Palfinger. Conversely, stocks such as Vienna Insurance and voestalpine saw declines.

Despite recent volatility, the ATX has maintained a year-to-date increase of 17.63 percent for 2026, having reached a yearly high of 7,043.27 points.
