The 2026 Austrian Cabaret Award winners were announced during a gala at the Globe in Vienna. Peter Klien received the television award for his ORF program ‘Gute Nacht Österreich’, marking his third win in this category.

Severin Groebner was awarded the main prize, noting in his speech that right-wing populist politicians provide significant satirical material. Other notable recipients include David Scheid, who won the program award for ‘The Kabarettist’, and Chrissi Buchmasser, who received the promotion award.

In the audience-voted categories, Ebru Sokolova (known as ‘Schwesta Ebra’) won the online award, while Alex Kristan received the audience award. A special award was presented to Robert Steiner and Stefan Gaugusch, known as Rolf Rüdiger. The gala is scheduled to be broadcast on ORF 1 and ORF ON on December 11, 2026.
