Austrian cinemas announce upcoming seasonal programming

Vienna-based cinemas are preparing for their upcoming seasons. The Austrian Film Museum is scheduled to host a retrospective on Chinese cinema from 1922 to 1964, alongside works from Aardman Animation and Michael Mann.

Other regional venues are also launching new programming. The Gartenbaukino will hold a tribute to Japanese animator Mamoru Oshii for his 75th birthday, while the Stadtkino begins its season with the documentary ‘Noga’ and the film ‘A Sad and Beautiful World’.
