Austrian cities host local festivals in St. Pölten and Mödling

Various local festivals are taking place in Austria. In St. Pölten, the 24th annual Beislfest is scheduled for September 25 and 26. The event, which supports local pub culture, features music, food specials, and a stamp pass program for visitors. Christoph Zein has taken over leadership of the festival to continue its growth as a major downtown event.

In Mödling, the city recently concluded its second Stadtfest. The celebration included a security day, a car-free day at Freiheitsplatz, and an OpenDOOR day featuring local ateliers and museums. Musical highlights included performances by Voodoo Jürgens and various jazz and big band acts, with festivities continuing into the early morning hours.
