Austrian coastal rowing team prepares for European Championships

The Austrian coastal rowing team has completed its final form check ahead of the European Championships, scheduled to take place in La Línea de la Concepción, Spain, from September 16 to 19.

During the Austrian Coastal Rowing National Championships held at Traunsee, Magdalena Lobnig successfully defended her title in the women’s single sculls. In the men’s single sculls, Vincent Schreiber secured victory, confirming his readiness for the upcoming European competition.

Other notable results included Nikolas Roidmayer winning the junior single sculls and Esther Schöberl claiming the junior women’s single sculls title. The event, hosted by the Gmundner Ruderverein and the Austrian Rowing Association, featured approximately 100 participants competing in challenging wind and wave conditions.
