Austrian facility management market shows moderate growth

The Austrian facility management industry recorded a moderate revenue increase of 4.6 percent in the 2025 fiscal year, according to the Lünendonk study. The 26 companies analyzed generated approximately 2.7 billion euros in total revenue and employed nearly 40,800 people.

ISS Facility Services maintained its top position with domestic revenue of 362.1 million euros. Simacek rose to second place with 224.3 million euros, followed by the CKV Gruppe at 216.8 million euros. Strabag Property and Facility Services saw the most significant growth, with revenue increasing by 59.6 percent to 150 million euros, largely due to the acquisition of Lohr Gebäudetechnik.

While overall growth slowed compared to the previous year, technical service providers performed well with a 6.1 percent increase. Industry sentiment remains positive, with projected annual growth rates between 4.2 and 5.6 percent through 2030.
