Austrian industry: Siemens Mobility expands in Trieben and Andritz sets revenue targets
Several Austrian companies have announced significant operational and strategic developments. Siemens Mobility is set to establish a Rail Service Center in Trieben on the former RHI-Magnesit site, which is expected to create at least 20 new jobs initially.
In the industrial sector, the Austrian plant engineering company Andritz has set a target to reach ten billion euros in revenue and a ten percent operating margin by 2029. Meanwhile, the company Eisbär announced it will move the production of hats, scarves, and sportswear to Poland and China, though its corporate headquarters will remain in Upper Austria.
In Groß-Enzersdorf, discussions are ongoing regarding the potential takeover of the Ardo plant by two investors, with Austrian political leaders scheduled to meet with management from the Belgian company Ardo.
