Austrian Red Cross organizes blood donation drives in Munderfing and Vöcklabruck

The Austrian Red Cross is conducting blood donation initiatives in Upper Austria. In Munderfing, a donation event is scheduled for Tuesday, December 1, at 2:00 PM in the parish hall. Eligible donors are healthy individuals aged 18 to 70 who can donate at eight-week intervals. Participants are required to bring official photo identification and their blood donor pass.

In Vöcklabruck, a recent Halloween-themed blood drive held at the Offenes Kulturhaus (OKH) attracted 61 donors. Organized in collaboration with the Red Cross, the event utilized a creative theme to encourage participation. Gottfried Hirz, President of the Upper Austrian Red Cross, noted that such creative incentives help reach individuals who may not have previously considered donating blood.
