Austrian restaurants launch 2026 seasonal goose menus

Restaurants in Austria are launching their 2026 seasonal goose menus, marking the start of the traditional goose season.

In Vienna, STUWER Neues Wiener Beisl has introduced an updated goose recipe featuring unlimited side dishes, including potato dumplings and red cabbage. The establishment is also offering a new vegan alternative consisting of crispy celery in a yuba coating. An ‘Early Bird Deal’ is available from October 19 to November 30, offering a three-course menu for 39.50 Euro.

In Graz, various dining establishments have announced their Martini goose offerings. Options range from traditional pasture-raised goose at Stainzerbauer and Lend-Platzl to a Japanese-Styrian ramen interpretation at mizu-san. Other local venues, such as Gösser Bräu Graz and aiola im Schloss, are providing specialized menus and organic options for the season.
