Austrian sports clubs undergo coaching changes

The Grazer Giants, recent champions of the Austrian Football League, are entering a new era following the departure of head coach Stefan Pokorny. Pokorny, who led the team to their first title in 18 years on July 25, is leaving to return to Vienna and spend more time with his family. The club appears to have already identified a successor.

In football, GAK is searching for a new head coach after relieving Ferdinand Feldhofer of his duties following an 0-8 defeat against Rapid. Interim coach Joachim Standfest is currently managing training sessions and will lead the team for the upcoming match against Ried. Potential candidates for the permanent position include Standfest, Gerald Scheiblehner, and Manfred Schmid.
