Austria's Cosmó reflects on Eurovision 2026 performance as Bulgaria wins

Austrian singer Cosmó performed his entry "Tanzschein" at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna’s Stadthalle, later saying, "It is not the last place – which would have been fine too," and expressing gratitude to the audience, his guitar‑player Sandro Humitsch and the dancers. He received six points – five from the German public and one from the Luxembourg jury – finishing ahead of the United Kingdom, which earned a single point.

The contest’s detailed voting shows that the Austrian public awarded its maximum 12 points to Bulgaria, which was crowned the overall winner, while the Austrian professional jury gave its top score to Poland. The Austrian jury, comprised of music managers, singers, artists and an influencer, allocated points to a range of entries, with Poland receiving 12 points, Denmark 10, Israel 8, Australia 7, Finland 6, Czech Republic 5, France 4, Norway 3, Italy 2 and Greece 1. More than 1.5 million viewers watched the broadcast on ORF.

Cosmó announced that he will continue touring in the summer and autumn, planning further live performances and new songs.
