British electronic duo Autechre will perform in Skopje for the first time on October 2, 2026, at the Youth Cultural Center (MKC). The event is organized by ROTK books&music.
Comprised of Sean Booth and Robert Brown, the duo is recognized as a highly influential force in experimental electronic music and IDM. Their performances are noted for taking place in total darkness, utilizing specific safety protocols to ensure the audience's focus remains entirely on the sound without visual distractions.
The concert evening will feature support from Macedonian producer Alexander Ordev, whom the duo personally selected to represent the local experimental scene. Additionally, the event will include MDX, a DJ project by Andy Maddocks, the founder of the Manchester-based label Skam Records.
