Authenticity and Modernity Party proposes social and wage increases in Morocco

Fouzi Lekjaa, a leader of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) and Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, has outlined a political program focused on social support and economic stability in Morocco.

During party gatherings in Tinghir and Agadir, Lekjaa proposed several measures to protect citizens' purchasing power and improve living standards. Key proposals include doubling the minimum direct social support for needy families from approximately 500 dirhams to at least 1,000 dirhams per month. He also suggested raising the minimum pension to 3,000 dirhams monthly to ensure stability for retirees.

Regarding wages, Lekjaa indicated that the party aims to review the tax system for employees, which could lead to monthly salary increases ranging between 1,500 and 4,000 dirhams. Additionally, the party plans to address the needs of widows by proposing that widow pensions remain intact rather than being reduced following a spouse's death. The program also emphasizes stabilizing the prices of essential goods and implementing integrated measures to support youth integration into the economy.
