Author Müge Urunga holds book signing in Adana

Author Müge Urunga met with readers in Adana during a book signing event for her novel, “Resmin Gözyaşları”. The event took place on October 25 at the Adana Medical Chamber Culture and Art Center.

Urunga shared the personal history behind her writing journey, noting that her passion for literature is a family legacy passed down from her grandfather and father. After a career as a geological engineer and 26 years as a primary school teacher, Urunga returned to writing following her retirement. She described a disciplined writing process, often waking at 5:00 AM to compose new chapters, which she initially shared with friends via a WhatsApp group before the work was compiled into her novel.
