Authorities investigate fatalities in Panama and Mexico

Authorities in Panama and Mexico are investigating separate incidents involving fatalities. In Santiago, Panama, the Public Ministry and National Police are investigating the death of a man following a reported fight near a transport terminal. Preliminary reports suggest the man left a bar after an altercation and was later seen collapsing in the La Hilda neighborhood. Local residents have noted frequent disturbances in the area near the terminal.

In Veracruz, Mexico, 21-year-old university student Josué Hernández Cayetano was found dead after being missing since September 5. Hernández Cayetano, an Information Systems and Technology Engineering student at the Universidad Veracruzana, was last seen leaving his home in Xalapa. The university and the Xalapa Language Center have issued statements expressing condolences to his family and friends.
