Authorities investigate two separate homicide cases in New York and New Jersey
In Queens, New York, the remains of 29-year-old aspiring rapper Matthew Collado, known professionally as A. K. Nash, were discovered inside a school chimney at the Anthony J. Pranzo School in Glendale. Collado had been missing since May 9, after failing to meet his mother for Mother's Day. An exterminator discovered the body while investigating a foul odor at the school, which was closed for summer construction at the time. While dental records confirmed his identity, the cause, date, and manner of death remain undetermined.
In Chester, New Jersey, an autopsy has provided details regarding the death of 35-year-old Brooke Hanlon, who was found stabbed to death in her home on Pottersville Road. The Morris County Medical Examiner confirmed that “sharp force injuries” were the cause of death. Hanlon’s husband, who discovered her unresponsive, has denied any involvement in the incident. The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office is continuing its investigation, but no arrests or persons of interest have been announced.
