Authorities search for missing persons in Mexico and Chile

Authorities and families in Mexico and Chile are seeking information regarding two missing individuals.

In Puebla, Mexico, Antonio Román Vargas, a 67-year-old driver for the Siervas de María community, has been missing since August 15, 2026. He was last seen in the El Carmen neighborhood. He is described as having a thin build, white complexion, and wavy graying hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a light blue long-sleeved shirt, black dress pants, and black shoes.

In Chile, the family of José Ricardo Nahuelpi Millabur is renewing calls for help more than a year after his disappearance. He went missing on August 4, 2025, from the El Pantano sector. He is described as approximately 1.60 meters tall with a thin build, wavy hair, and light brown eyes. Notable physical characteristics include the absence of a ring finger on one hand and a wound on his left arm. His case remains registered with the Policía de Investigaciones de Chile (PDI).
