Authorities search for missing persons in Veracruz and Quintana Roo

The Veracruz State Attorney General's Office (FGE) is searching for two siblings from Mexico City who went missing in Orizaba. Zoe Saori Jiménez Vargas, 4, was last seen on September 21, 2026, and her brother Jayden Mateo Jiménez Vargas, 6, was reported missing on October 5, triggering Amber Alert Veracruz 1732. Authorities expressed concern that the children may be victims of a crime.

In Quintana Roo, the State Attorney General's Office has issued search notices for two individuals missing in the Felipe Carrillo Puerto municipality. Josué Vladimir Che Yama, 30, was last seen on October 6. Additionally, 15-year-old Gloria Marisol Cahun Che was last seen on October 8 in the community of Tepich. Authorities are requesting public assistance to locate both individuals.
