Auto Wave donates vehicle moving equipment to Chiba City

Auto Wave Co., Ltd. has donated three sets of “cardolly” vehicle moving equipment to Chiba City to enhance local disaster prevention capabilities. The donation follows the heavy rains in Chiba in August 2026, which left numerous vehicles flooded and stranded on roads, creating significant obstacles for emergency response and traffic recovery.

The specialized equipment allows for the movement of vehicles by lifting the wheels, even if the engine cannot start or the steering is non-functional. Chiba Mayor Shunichi Kamiya expressed gratitude, noting that the equipment will be vital for managing stranded vehicles during future disasters.

Auto Wave, an automotive service provider, intends for this donation to be the first step in a broader partnership with the city. Future cooperation may include vehicle inspections and movement support to improve regional disaster resilience.
