Autobacs Seven begins orders for Lean3 urban electric vehicle

Autobacs Seven has begun taking orders for the ‘Lean3’, a single-passenger urban electric vehicle (EV) developed by Lean Mobility. Orders are being accepted at Autobacs Cars stores across Japan starting August 26, 2026, with deliveries scheduled to begin in October 2026.

The Lean3 is a compact three-wheeled microcar measuring 2,480mm in length and 970mm in width. It features an enclosed cabin with air conditioning and can be operated with a standard driver's license (including AT-only). The vehicle has a top speed of 60km/h and a range of approximately 100km. Charging is compatible with standard 100V and 200V household outlets.

Prices for the Lean3 start at 1,698,000 yen. This move follows the Autobacs Group's expansion into next-generation mobility, which began in February 2024 with electric kickboards. The company aims to strengthen its after-sales service and product lineup within the micro-mobility market.
