Autocross Brasil championship holds second stage in Rio Verde
The second stage of the 2026 Brazilian Autocross Championship is taking place at the Autódromo Acelera Rioverdego in Rio Verde, Goiás. The event features intense competition across several categories, including Autocross Brasil, Autocross Light, and a single-stage Kartcross Brasil championship.
In the Autocross Brasil category, Ricardo Rotilli secured a dominant performance on the first day, earning both the pole position and victory in the first race. In the Autocross Light category, Itor Cherubini emerged as a key protagonist during the opening sessions.
Among the competitors is Rafael Bortoli, a former 2022 vice-champion, who enters the round seeking to build on his fourth-place finish from the previous stage in Bahia. The competition is supervised by the Confederação Brasileira de Automobilismo and includes night races as part of the scheduled programming.
