Autodesk raises full-year outlook after exceeding Q2 earnings
Autodesk reported fiscal 2027 second-quarter revenue and earnings per share that exceeded the high end of its previous guidance. Following these results, the company raised its full-year outlook for both revenue and billings.
Second-quarter revenue increased 16% year over year as reported, or 14% in constant currency. The company noted that a new transaction model contributed approximately 2 percentage points to this growth. Billings rose 10% as reported, representing a 12% increase in constant currency.
CEO Andrew Anagnost stated the company is pursuing a “project intelligence” strategy, which aims to connect data and workflows across design, construction, manufacturing, and asset operations. This approach seeks to utilize operational performance data to inform future projects. The updated financial forecast also accounts for the acquisition of MaintainX, which closed on August 3.
Operating margins also saw improvement, with GAAP operating margin reaching 29% and non-GAAP operating margin reaching 41%.
