Autodromo Nazionale Monza receives renewed FIA Three-Star Environmental Accreditation

The FIA has renewed the Three-Star Environmental Accreditation for the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. This recognition follows a thorough review of the circuit's environmental management systems and its strategy for continuous sustainability improvements.

The evaluation included several key documents and certifications, such as ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, ISO 20121:2024 for sustainable event management, the Sustainable Event Management Policy, and the 2025 ESG Impact Report. The FIA's assessment highlighted a structured approach involving performance monitoring, internal audits, and stakeholder engagement.

A central component of Monza's strategy is its greenhouse gas emissions inventory, which tracks Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 categories. This comprehensive monitoring allows the circuit to assess its broader climate impact and identify new areas for intervention. Ongoing improvement programs focus on energy and fuel usage, waste management, sustainable mobility, and biodiversity protection.

President Giuseppe Redaelli stated that the renewal of the three stars is a recognition of the path taken by the Autodromo Nazionale Monza toward more structured and sustainable management of its activities and the major motorsport events hosted at the venue.
