Automakers advance hybrid range and safety standards
Automotive manufacturers are advancing hybrid and safety technologies. The OMODA 9 and JAECOO 7 plug-in hybrid models have achieved five-star Euro NCAP ratings for 2025, focusing on occupant protection and battery safety through various driver assistance systems and structural reinforcements.
Volvo Cars has updated its XC60 and XC90 SUV models with enhanced plug-in hybrid variants. These new versions offer significantly increased electric autonomy, reaching up to 200 km for the XC60 and 160 km for the XC90, representing a 2.5-fold increase over previous models. The updates also include design refinements to the front and rear profiles, such as new alloy wheels and Matrix LED headlights.
