Various academic institutions in Latin America have published research spanning architecture, engineering, medicine, and technology.

In Ecuador, studies include an architectural redesign proposal for a specialized school in Loja using neuroarchitecture, an analysis of thermal gradients causing concrete fissures in Guayaquil, the development of an augmented reality mobile app for calculus, and a proposal to use artificial intelligence for managing low-value vehicle insurance claims.
