Automechanika Frankfurt opens with 4,400 exhibitors
The Automechanika Frankfurt trade fair has opened, featuring approximately 4,400 exhibitors from over 80 countries across 300,000 square meters. The event focuses on industry transformations, including artificial intelligence, electromobility, digitalization, and autonomous driving.
Despite challenging economic conditions and geopolitical uncertainties, exhibitor numbers have increased by roughly 5 percent. The global automotive aftermarket is projected to grow by 5.8 percent worldwide by 2026, driven by longer vehicle lifespans and the rise of the independent spare parts market.
Argentine automotive suppliers, including Juntas Meyro, CESCA, and CEA Electrónica Automotriz, are participating via a collective stand organized by the state export agency PromArgentina. This presence serves as a strategic attempt to diversify markets amid declining exports and domestic pressure within Argentina's supply industry.
