Automobile heritage exhibitions and vintage car rallies held in Monaco and France
Various automotive heritage events and vintage car gatherings are taking place across the region this August. In Monaco, the Grimaldi Forum is hosting the exhibition ‘Monaco and the Automobile, from 1893 to the present day’. The display features 53 historical vehicles that have participated in the Monte Carlo Rally or the Monaco Grand Prix, including cars driven by legends such as Ayrton Senna, Sébastien Loeb, and Charles Leclerc.
In France, several large-scale vintage vehicle rallies are scheduled. Guermantes in Seine-et-Marne will host the 8th edition of a gathering organized by the association ‘À la recherche des autos perdues’, expecting up to 200 vehicles ranging from classic Citroën 2CVs to Ford Mustangs. Additionally, Marles-les-Mines in Pas-de-Calais will hold a second edition of a vintage vehicle rally featuring cars, motorcycles, and military vehicles, including an elegance competition.
