Mercedes-Benz wins highest resale value award for commercial vehicles in Brazil

Mercedes-Benz has been named the winner of the 2026 Highest Resale Value Seal for commercial vehicles in Brazil. The certification, presented in São Paulo, recognizes models that best preserve their value after three years of use. Mercedes-Benz secured top honors in both the cargo utility and truck segments, with the Sprinter 417 recording a minimal depreciation of only 5.7%.

Other notable winners include Scania, which led in the most categories for trucks, and Iveco, which won in the light vehicle category. The awards also included specific categories for electrified commercial vehicles, highlighting the expansion of new technologies in the Brazilian market.

In separate industry news, the 26th Expo de Transportes (Feira dos Cegonheiros) is taking place in São Bernardo do Campo. The event focuses on fleet renewal, with manufacturers offering discounts of up to 10% on heavy vehicles. Additionally, industry representatives are negotiating a R$ 1.5 billion financing line with the federal government to support the acquisition of car carrier trucks and implements.

Meanwhile, the municipality of Balneário Camboriú has opened 521 vacancies for street vendors for the 2026/2027 summer season, covering 15 different activity categories.
