Automotive brands Lepas and Zeekr expand presence in Europe

New automotive brands are expanding their presence in the European market. In Italy, the Lepas brand has debuted its first showroom at the Checcacci dealership in Prato. The launch features the Lepas L8, a five-seater plug-in hybrid SUV equipped with the Lepas Super Hybrid system. The vehicle produces 279 CV and offers up to 90 km of electric autonomy, with a total range exceeding 1,000 km.

Simultaneously, Zeekr, a brand under the Geely Holding group, is introducing its luxury 9X SUV to the European market. The 9X will be showcased at the Monaco Yacht Show before its commercial rollout. In Italy, the six-seat Ultra AWD version is expected to begin deliveries in January 2027 with a starting price of 122,610 euros. The 9X features a 900-volt electric architecture paired with a 2-liter turbo petrol engine, delivering a combined 897 CV and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.1 seconds.
