Automotive companies debut new brands and digital tools at Automechanika Frankfurt

At Automechanika Frankfurt 2026, automotive industry players Lucas Elektrik and ZF Aftermarket introduced new products and digital solutions aimed at the aftermarket sector.

Lucas Elektrik debuted ‘Le Part’, a new brand designed to expand its presence in the European aftermarket for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Leveraging 50 years of experience in alternator and starter motor technology, including Mitsubishi-related expertise, the brand offers a range of new products that undergo individual testing. To support the European market, Le Part utilizes a logistics hub in the Netherlands featuring over 1,500 square meters of warehouse space.

ZF Aftermarket presented a digital ecosystem intended to streamline vehicle repairs by connecting diagnostic data, workshop operations, and spare parts supply. The system aims to reduce repair times and improve fleet availability by integrating various stages of the repair process. Currently, ZF connects more than 2,000 fleets and 50,000 workshops. Key features include remote diagnostics via ZF Bus Connect and the ZF [pro]Manager, which facilitates digital coordination between fleets and service partners through an open API architecture.
