Automotive companies launch technical training in Brazil

Automotive manufacturers in Brazil are launching initiatives to train technical professionals to meet the increasing technological complexity of modern vehicles.

RIO – Riosulense, a major Latin American auto parts manufacturer, conducts between 15,000 and 17,000 training sessions annually. Through workshops, technical lectures, and factory immersions, the company educates mechanics, engineers, and students on engine components, diagnostic analysis, and new technologies such as direct injection (GDI) and Euro 6 emission standards. The program aims to improve labor quality and reduce errors in assembly and diagnosis.

Similarly, Ford has introduced ‘Ford Auto,’ a free technical training program developed in partnership with Senai, Rede Cidadã, and its dealership network. The program focuses on preparing technicians for the maintenance of combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles. The initial phase offers spots in São Paulo and Salvador, covering essential areas including engines, transmissions, chassis, and high-voltage electronics to address the growing demand for specialized post-sales service.
