Automotive expansion continues in Serbia and Slovenia

The automotive sector is seeing expansion and new market entries in Southeast Europe. Gota Car Group has announced the opening of a new sales and service center in Subotica, Serbia, scheduled to begin operations on October 1, 2026. Located at Senćanski put 209B, the facility will represent the Toyota brand as well as CFMOTO motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs, serving customers in Subotica and the surrounding northern Bačka region.

In Slovenia, two new Chinese brands from the Guangzhou Automotive Corporation (GAC) are entering the market via the SEEAG group. The expansion includes the Aion brand, which focuses on fully electric vehicles, and the GAC brand for hybrid and gasoline models. Initial offerings include four models, such as the Aion UT, a compact electric sedan designed in Milan and assembled in Graz, Austria.
