Automotive heritage events scheduled in Portugal and Brazil

Various automotive heritage events are scheduled in Portugal and Brazil. In Viana do Castelo, the Rampa de Santa Luzia returns on September 26 and 27, 2026. Organized by the Viana Motor Clube, this non-competitive event celebrates automotive passion by gathering classic cars and other machines along one of the city's most iconic routes. Pre-registration for the 2026 edition is currently open.

In Petrópolis, Brazil, the 5th edition of the Circuito Imperial de Automobilismo (CIA 2026) will take place from September 11 to 13. The free event features classic cars, rare miniatures, and lectures. The program includes an exhibition on Avenida Tiradentes and a historical raid on Sunday, September 13, which will follow the original street racing tracks used in the 1950s and 1960s. The event aims to preserve the city's deep connection to Brazilian motorsport history.
