Automotive industry partners invest in Polish vocational education

Educational institutions in Poland are receiving significant upgrades to their vocational training capabilities through partnerships with major automotive companies.

In the Silesian region, the Katowice Special Economic Zone S.A., in collaboration with the Stellantis Group, has launched a new phase of the Automotive StrefAcademy KSSE initiative. This program provides over 40 educational facilities and the Silesian University of Technology with advanced technical equipment, including 210 electric motors, 102 internal combustion engines, and various hybrid and automatic gearboxes. This equipment reflects the technologies used in modern vehicles from brands such as Jeep, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Lancia.

In Warsaw, the Zespół Szkół Licealnych i Technicznych nr 1 in the Mokotów district has opened two new vocational workshops. This development is the result of a long-term partnership with Toyota, which includes internships, specialized classes, and teacher training. These workshops aim to align student skills with the practical requirements of the contemporary automotive labor market.
