Automotive markets see new 2026 and 2027 model releases

The Egyptian automotive market is seeing a significant influx of new 2026 models, including hybrid and electric options. Notable entries include the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, featuring a 1500cc turbo engine, and the Kay YX 7, which offers 360 horsepower. Other models appearing in the market include the JAC JS6 and KGM Actyon.

In the electric vehicle sector, several affordable options are available in Egypt, such as the Geely EX2, Chevrolet Spark EV, BYD Dolphin, Arcfox T1, and MG 4. Prices for these electric models range from approximately 749,900 EGP to 1.2 million EGP.

Globally, manufacturers are also unveiling new updates. Lincoln has introduced a facelift for the 2027 Nautilus, which features a 48-inch panoramic screen and offers both turbo petrol and hybrid powertrains, with the hybrid version producing 285 horsepower. Additionally, Ford has launched the 2027 Transit Custom, a medium-sized commercial van equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine producing 141 horsepower.
