Waldo, creator of Waldo’s World, has taken on a Mercedes GL450 offered for free by an owner named Ray. The condition of the deal is that the SUV must be made functional again. Although two professional garages previously diagnosed the vehicle as needing a complete engine replacement—a repair estimated to cost up to $27,000—the car still runs, albeit poorly. Diagnostic codes indicate a misfire in cylinder number five, prompting a search for the true cause of the mechanical failure.

In a separate project, YouTuber Mat Armstrong is working on a Bugatti Veyron. After acquiring the vehicle for a total cost of approximately £1,000,000 including repatriation to England, Armstrong is investigating engine stalling issues. Despite the car's reputation for expensive maintenance, Armstrong aims to identify and fix the problem, which he suspects may stem from a simple component such as a sensor.
