AUTOP 2026 expected to generate half a billion in business

The AUTOP 2026 automotive trade fair, scheduled to take place from August 19 to 22 at the Ceará Event Center, is projected to generate approximately half a billion Reais in business. The 19th edition of the event is expected to host over 500 brands across 300 stands, with an anticipated attendance exceeding 40,000 people.

Organizers report that booth sales are nearly exhausted, marking the highest demand in the event's history. Ranieri Leitão, president of Sincopeças Assopeças Assomotos, noted that the record demand reflects the maturity of the automotive sector in Ceará. The event will focus on innovation, mobility trends, and electrification, while also providing professional training and discussing sustainability within the regional market.
