Autopay appoints former PayU CEO and Nexi Group executive to leadership roles

Autopay has announced significant leadership additions to its management team. Joanna Pieńkowska-Olczak, formerly the CEO of PayU for Poland and the Central and Eastern Europe region, will join the company in November to lead the development of new business lines and revenue streams.

Additionally, Mateusz Godecki has joined Autopay as Chief Operating Officer (COO) as of mid-September. Godecki previously served as a board member for Polskie ePłatności and BillBird within the Nexi Group.

These appointments support the strategic direction set by Autopay CEO Wojciech Murawski. The company is currently expanding its service offerings, including embedded payments, recurring and subscription-based payments, and AI-agent-initiated payments.
