Autostrade per l’Italia announces motorway works and closures
Autostrade per l’Italia has announced several infrastructure projects and maintenance works across Italian motorways.
On the A14 Bologna-Taranto motorway in Puglia, night closures are scheduled to facilitate paving and safety barrier inspections. Specific closures include the Foggia station (inbound toward Bari) and the Trani station (outbound from Bari). Additionally, sections between Poggio Imperiale and San Severo will be closed in both directions on October 7 and 8 to allow for paving work, affecting access to the San Trifone ovest service area.
In the Reggio Emilia region, installation of noise barriers is underway on the Autostrada del Sole (A1) through the Rubiera districts of Fontana and San Faustino. This environmental mitigation project involves deep foundation work using piles that may cause significant vibrations. Autostrade per l’Italia has offered local property owners free, non-mandatory technical inspections to assess potential impacts from the construction.
