Autumn 2026 anime season features nostalgic titles like Magic Knight Rayearth

The autumn 2026 anime season is generating significant anticipation due to a lineup of nostalgic titles from the 1990s and 2000s. Key upcoming projects include a new adaptation of CLAMP’s ‘Magic Knight Rayearth’, marking the 30th anniversary of the original TV series. Fans have expressed interest in the new visual style, noting efforts to replicate a cel-shaded aesthetic.

Other highly anticipated series include the first TV anime adaptation of the RPG series ‘Suikoden’, which is scheduled to begin broadcasting on TOKYO MX in early October. Additionally, ‘PSYREN’, a manga that was a frequent nominee for anime adaptation during its original run in ‘Weekly Shonen Jump’, is set to premiere in October.

In conjunction with these releases, PASH! PLUS is conducting viewer polls to rank the satisfaction of the 2026 summer anime season and the level of anticipation for the upcoming autumn lineup.
