Autumn 2026 literary season features major new novel releases

The autumn 2026 literary season features a significant volume of releases, including 461 publications between August and October, of which 344 are French novels.

Highlighted works include Laura Kasischke’s ‘Suspicious River’, a choral narrative set against the backdrop of the first lunar spaceflight, and Sylvain Prudhomme’s ‘De l’autre côté du lac’, a romantic thriller involving a disappearance in a protected reserve.
