Autumn festivals scheduled in Quebec and Villeneuve-d'Ascq
Various regional autumn and Halloween festivities are scheduled across Quebec and France.
In Vieux-Québec, the fourth edition of L’Étrange Carnaval will take place from October 23 to 25. Organized by the Société de développement commercial du Vieux-Québec, the event features swing dancing, magic shows, circus performances, and a vintage market known as Marché de l’Étrange.
Vaudreuil-Dorion is hosting an interactive outdoor Halloween adventure at Harwood Nature Park from October 3 to November 3. Participants can use a mobile app to solve riddles along a course. Special programming, including character appearances and workshops, is scheduled for October 31.
In Villeneuve-d'Ascq, France, the Musée de plein air will host a pumpkin festival on October 3 and 4, 2026. The event includes a seasonal vegetable market, pony rides, and culinary workshops.
