Autumn foliage begins across Japanese mountain regions

Autumn foliage season is underway across various mountainous regions in Japan. In Fukushima, the Azuma Skyline and surrounding areas like Mount Adatara and Jododaira are experiencing seasonal color changes, though some areas have faced foggy conditions.

On Mount Takamaru, the autumn colors are beginning to appear, with peak foliage expected between October 20 and November 10. Observations noted some damage to birch trees caused by deer. Meanwhile, interest in viewing the autumn scenery continues in other regions, including plans for excursions to the Mount Tanigawadake area.
