Autumn Glow wins $5 million King Charles III Stakes

Autumn Glow, the five-year-old mare and previous season's Australian horse champion, secured a victory in the $5 million King Charles III Stakes at Randwick. Ridden by James McDonald and trained by Chris Waller, she won by two and a quarter lengths, holding off a challenge from Ceolwulf.

With this win, Autumn Glow has reached 14 victories from 15 starts, bringing her total career earnings to over $12.8 million. Trainer Chris Waller noted that the mare's preparation involved adjusting her training following the scratching of Pride Of Jenni due to a leg infection. Autumn Glow is expected to compete in the Champions Mile at Flemington in two weeks.
