Autumn landscapes transform Trabzon and Bayburt regions
The autumn season has begun to transform the landscapes of the Trabzon and Bayburt border regions in Turkey. In the Haldizen Mountains, the area known as Yedigöller is experiencing significant seasonal changes. Crater lakes such as Aygır Gölü and Balıklıgöl, situated at an altitude of approximately 2,740 meters, are attracting photographers and nature enthusiasts due to the contrast between the still waters, steep mountains, and changing vegetation.
Similarly, in the Çaykara district of Trabzon, the high-altitude plateaus including Sultan Murat, Eğrisu, and Hanırmak are transitioning from summer greens to autumn yellows and browns. The appearance of vargit flowers in these high elevations further signals the seasonal shift. These natural displays continue to draw both local and international visitors interested in the region's unique mountain scenery.
