Autumn rose festivals and viewing spots held across Japan

Various regions in Japan are hosting events or offering scenic locations to view autumn roses.

In Tokyo, the 26th Otsuka Rose Festival is taking place near Otsuka Station South Exit. The event runs from October 11 to October 25, 2026, spanning the area along the Tokyo Sakura Tram (Toden Arakawa Line) from Otsuka Station to Mukuhara, as well as the shopping streets around TRAM Pal Otsuka. An opening ceremony and photo contest awards ceremony were held on October 11.

In Yamaguchi Prefecture, several locations are highlighted for autumn rose viewing. Key spots include the rose garden at Hachigamine Sogo Park in Waki Town, Kanriyamapark in Hikari City, which features fragrant varieties, and the rose gardens surrounding the Yamaguchi Ube Airport terminal building.
