Autumn season transitions in Japan amid climate perceptions and seasonal displays

As autumn approaches in Japan, residents in Hiroshima report a diminishing sense of the season due to shifting weather patterns. A survey of working women in Hiroshima revealed that over 80% feel changes in the climate, with 56.6% stating they no longer feel the presence of autumn. Additionally, more than 60% of respondents reported having purchased autumn clothing only to find they could not wear it properly due to unpredictable temperature fluctuations.

In Chiba Prefecture, Shimizu Park is preparing for the seasonal arrival of autumn through its Flower Fantasia garden. Starting September 12, the park will showcase seasonal blooms including kochia, roses, and cosmos. The facility remains pet-friendly and offers various admission rates for families and seniors.
