Autumn tourism highlights in Tirolo and Gorzegno

The autumn season in Tirolo, located in South Tyrol, offers a combination of natural scenery and traditional culinary experiences. Situated on a plateau at approximately 600 meters altitude, the area is characterized by vineyards and apple orchards. Visitors can participate in Törggelen, a traditional South Tyrolean custom involving the sharing of seasonal products in local farmhouses and taverns, which continues through mid-November.

In the Alta Langa region, the village of Gorzegno offers cultural attractions centered on local stone. The Nàsc – Museo delle Pietre Parlanti is an open-air museum divided into historical, ethnographic, and artistic sections. This museum showcases the use of local stone in architecture and art, a practice recognized by UNESCO in 2018 as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
