Autumn transitions bring mild weather and seasonal reflection in Germany

Autumn in Germany is characterized by changing landscapes and seasonal transitions. In the Gieseler Forest near Neuhof, the season has brought misty mornings and mild temperatures, with highs reaching between 18 and 23 degrees Celsius. While fog has been present, the weather remains relatively mild according to the German Weather Service.

The season also marks a period for reflection and cemetery maintenance. Cemeteries serve as quiet spaces for remembrance as nature enters a cycle of decay. This period involves transitioning grave decorations from summer flowers to hardier plants such as heather, chrysanthemums, and pansies, as well as regular maintenance like removing fallen leaves to protect vegetation.
