AV-TEST Institute evaluates 30 Windows 11 security solutions

The AV-TEST Institute has released its latest testing results for Windows 11 security solutions, covering the period of July and August 2026. The evaluation included a total of 30 different security products designed for both private users and corporate environments.

For private users, 15 antivirus programs were assessed, including solutions from Bitdefender, ESET, Kaspersky, McAfee, Microsoft Defender, and Norton. For corporate users, 15 enterprise-level products were tested, such as Sophos Intercept X Advanced, Symantec Endpoint Security Complete, and Microsoft Defender Antivirus (Enterprise).

The testing methodology evaluated each product across three primary categories: protection effectiveness, system performance, and usability.
